1. Minutes from Previous Meeting

The minutes of the last meeting were proposed as a correct record by Cllr J. Dinning and seconded by Cllr M. Belfield.

2. Matters Arising

Highways have said a grit box will be installed, at the appropriate time, near the Thorncliffe Lane / Buxton Road junction.

3. Financial

Bank balance £2,448-75

Payments approved for:
Zurich Insurance Insurance £196-00

4. Correspondence

SPCA have supplied a “mini-brief” for Local Government Reorganisation and Devolution. There was a length general discussion involving all present about devolution. Particular concern was the lack of information about plans, if any, concerning parish councils.
5. Any other business
a. SMDC have grants for VE Day celebrations. Available for events by parish councils or supported by parish councils. Clerk to check with Blackshaw School.
