1. Minutes from Previous Meeting

The minutes of the last meeting were proposed as a correct record by Cllr S. Howard and seconded by Cllr M.Belfield.

2. Matters Arising

The proposal to use the phone box as book exchange should proceed. Clerk to arrange for the phone box to be tidied before giving the go-ahead.

3. Financial

Bank balance 2,932-28.

4. Correspondence

There is a “Parish Cluster Meeting” about the Local Government Reorganisation at Moorlands House on 21st August at 6pm.
5. Any other business

a. Question about the timing of verge cutting was raised.
b. Report two potholes on Leek side of the narrow bridge on Thorncliffe Lane.
c. The “Thorncliffe “ sign approaching from Leek is unstable.
d. Concerns have been raised about the apparent lack of sanitation at the campsite adjacent to the Three Horseshoes.
