  1. Minutes from Previous Meeting

 

The minutes of the last meeting were proposed as a correct record by Cllr M. Belfield and seconded by Cllr S.Howard.

 

  1. Matters Arising

 

Signage for Back Lane. A suitable example sign has been identified. This will be sent to Highways for comment.

 

Signs on junction of Thorncliffe Lane and Buxton Road. Sign owner has been contacted and they said they would move them.

 

  1. Planning

 

  1. SMD/2023/0018 Methodist Church, Ankors Lane, Thorncliffe.

    The applicant has made an unsolicited offer to sell the Chapel to the Parish Council for £200,000.  This has been declined.

Bank balance £3,226-63.

  1. Coronation

    Clerk to determine if any event or action being undertaken by the school and if the council could contribute.

  2. Highways

    Verge has disappeared in places along Thorncliffe Road. Between Easing Dale Farm and Brassingtons.  To be raised with Highways.

    Excess water along the Buxton Road.
