Carolyn Renwick from ConnectFibre gave a brief presentation about Project Gigabit and ConnectFibre. Project Gigabit is the government initiative to provide fibre broadband to those properties that would not be served by a commercial organisation. ConnectFibre is the organisation contracted to provide fibre broadband in our area. The anticipated switch-on date is end of February 2026.

The telephone box has been tidied and will be given a fresh coat of paint.

a. The verge on Thorncliffe Road near Easingdale Farm is very narrow and potentially hazardous to road users.
b. People, presumed to be from the campsite at Brooklyn Grange Farm, have been urinating on the verge.
